New students join TISA

During this year at TISA many new students have joined our community, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the new students have not been properly introduced around the school.

This is Alejandra. She is a new student in M1A coming to TISA from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. She says the “transition to TISA was very smooth” and “I met so many new friends and the teachers are amazing.” She feels very welcomed and excited for this year.

Alejandra’s favorite parts of online learning are interacting more with teachers and friends after school and using more platforms. Alejandra’s least favorite part of online learning is internet lag and when her internet doesn’t work very well. She loves animals and said “If I could domesticate any animal I would domesticate koalas because they are so cute.” Her favorite thing in Dubai was all the places she could go like malls and theme parks. She is looking forward to seeing her friends here in Baku and walking around the city.

Alejandra’s favorite thing to eat is chicken nuggets because she says “they are so good and I love them.” She loves to cook cupcakes. She says “they smell so good when you are making them and they are really fun to make!”
