
As most of you may be aware, a lot of teachers are unfortunately leaving TISA this year – the list sadly includes Ms. Apoorva, our favorite Learning Support and Math teacher.
This paragraph is dedicated to Ms. Apoorva and our thanks to her as a teacher who helped us learn so many new things:
Dear Ms. Apoorva: We would like to thank you for teaching us all these years. We love and appreciate your lessons and it is very sad to see you go. However, we hope that you’ll be able to have a safe trip back to Mumbai and enjoy it over there – but we will never forget you and the amazing lessons you’ve taught us!
Below, you can read Ms. Apoorva’s answers to the questions she was asked by M3 student Aysha Mammadli.
Aysha Mammadli: How long have you been in Baku?
Apoorva Joshi: I have been in Baku for 9 years.
AM: What are your favourite places and things to do?
AJ: I love Shahdag, Tufan dag, Sheki and illusu. Walking on the Boulevard is my favourite thing to do.
AM: How long have you been at TISA?
AJ: I have been in TISA as a teacher for 3 years and as a parent for 9 years.
AM: What will you remember?
AJ: Speech and Debate tournaments, M1 retreat to Gala alti and bollywood dance during Festival of Languages.
AM: What do you think you will miss?
AJ: My students, my debaters, my friends and my dog.
AM: Where are you going next?
AJ: Mumbai, India.
AM: Do you have any last messages for students at TISA?
AJ: You all guys are lucky to be in TISA and you all have an opportunity to make the best of your life at TISA.
